Service Interruption Advisory

Dear Valued Client,

Please bear with us regarding the interrupted services yesterday which started around 2:30PM. There were modified technical configurations on Servobox Network Infrastructure that caused a sporadic impact to both web and email services. It took us several tweaks to figure out the root cause and restore back online.

All services were stable at exactly 8:30PM, 09/14/2017.

Thank you for your patience and sincere understanding.
More power.

With all good wishes,
Customer Care Group

Be on Guard (A New Breed of Ransomware is Attacking Globally via Email)
Posted by Loritas Medina on 29 June 2017 12:37 PM

Please be warned of the newly discovered Wanna Cryptor-like ransomware which targeted Ukraine and now hitting globally as reported on June 27, 2017.

Security experts said that it's a new breed of "Petya ransomware". Petya took an approach different from that of other crypto-ransomware. Instead of encrypting files individually, it aimed at the file system. It only takes one unpatched computer to get inside the network, and the malware can get administrator rights and spread to other computers.

Once your computer is infected, you are required to pay a certain amount in Bitcoin to unlock and restore access.

More countries have been hit with this cyber extortion attack that lock computers and held users’ files for ransom at a multitude of companies and government agencies in different parts of the world.

Be very careful in clicking or opening email attachments from UNTRUSTED/UNKNOWN senders. Cyber extortionists tricked victims into opening email attachments that appeared to contain invoices, job offers, security warnings and other legitimate files to deceive end-users.

We have increased our anti-spam and malware security to combat this attack but in case it has passed through the host server, additional security layer on end-users workstation is highly advisable.

To protect your data, kindly take this precautionary measure.

Thank you.

Sincerely,
Customer Support Team

May
23

Dear Valued Clients,

As an IT-enabled business solution, our goal is to continuously implement preventive maintenance in order to reduce or if not avoid major impacts caused by outdated system.

In this regard, please be advised that there will be a DNS server maintenance on Friday, May 26, 2017 at 7PM.

If your domain’s name server records are pointed to ns.wsiph2.com and ns2.wsiph2.com, you are affected on the upcoming DNS maintenance because the Name Server (ns.wsiph2.com) will be moved to cloud.

What is the impact? There will be a great intermittence of service for both website and email while the world wide web DNS record update is taking place over a period of up to 48 hours.

All services will become stable as soon as the DNS records have completely propagated.

Sincerely,

Customer Support Team
